Paws Rescue Diaries: September 2026

We are 80% there! Help us to cross the finish line for our new Dog Shelter!

Our dogs are finally inside their new shelter, but we are facing a critical turning point, and we desperately need your help to keep them safe. Watching our dogs settle into their new sanctuary has made every struggle worthwhile.

Our disabled pups are loving the smooth floors in their dedicated space, while the rest of the pack are happily zooming around the garden.

However, we are in a truly desperate situation. Our builders are waiting to be paid the final $3,000 (approximately 77,900,000 VND) – but we still haven’t raised enough funds.

We have managed to raise 80% of our goal, but without this final 20%, we simply cannot complete this safe haven.

Please, if you can spare even a small amount today, help us cross this final finish line.

Every small contribution helps us settle our bill. Can you chip in today to help us make their home complete?

Adopted & Loved

Ramen’s heart-stealing welcome

They say first impressions count, and Ramen certainly made sure hers did! Abandoned outside our clinic gate at just four weeks old, this brave girl survived terrifying battles with both FPV and FIP, but she pulled through and is now the healthy, friendly cat we see today.

When her new parents stepped inside the Cat House, Ramen immediately took on the role of the head greeter, welcoming them with lots of purrs. No other kitty stood a chance! We are thrilled to see this girl thriving in her forever home.

Bambi’s transformation

When we first brought Bambi back from Điện Ngọc, he was in a heartbreaking state. He was severely lethargic, suffering from a swollen belly, and covered in painful demodectic mange. It was hard to imagine the bright, cheerful pup hiding beneath all that suffering.

With patience and lots of love, Bambi transformed. His fluffy fur grew back, his energetic spirit returned, and his clever personality shone through. Today, Bambi has officially been adopted into a loving family! Saying goodbye is bitter-sweet, but knowing he is cherished makes every moment worth it.

Big boy Bruce settles into the UK!

Finding a home for a nearly 40kg Rottweiler with a cautious side due to past abuse was never going to be easy, but we always knew Bruce’s person was out there. After spending time in our shelter quarantine, Bruce moved to Happy Paws for boarding, where a spacious enclosure and daily playtime helped him slowly rebuild his trust in people.

And now, the moment we all dreamed of has arrived: Bruce has safely touched down in the UK to start his new life with the very person who rescued him back in 2024! Have the best life, sweet boy!

Meet our newest rescues

Little Wee’s fight for survival

Meet our newest and tiniest rescue baby, Wee. Found trapped alongside his siblings in a tiny gap between two building walls, our team had to use specialised tools just to pull them out to safety. Tragically, after days trapped without their mother, his siblings were too weak to survive.

Wee is now fighting for his life, putting on weight steadily and snuggling up to his teddy bear mum. Because he is so young, his journey is still critical. Your support helps us provide specialised kitten formula, warmth, and intensive vet care to help babies like Wee make it through.

World Rabies Day 2026: Protecting Our Community!

We are so proud to share what we achieved during World Rabies Day 2026! In collaboration with our expert team at Paws International Clinic Da Nang & Hoi An, we successfully vaccinated 100 local pets against rabies, helping keep both animals and neighbours safe.

Thanks to the generosity of Lady Freethinker, we were also able to distribute nearly 150kg of nutritious pet food along with muzzles and harnesses to local pet owners. Thanks to everyone who joined, we raised 17,314,000 VND during the event to fund our daily rescue operations!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, brought their furry companions, played Bingo, and supported our vendors. You are the driving force behind everything we do!
