Paws Rescue Diaries: March 2026

Adopted & Loved

Yee-haw! Cowboy has found his forever home.

Our brave Cowboy has officially headed off on his next big adventure! Rescued from a dumpster at just six weeks old, this lad was diagnosed with a congenital condition in his knee joints. It makes him a bit wobbly, but he’s never let it slow him down! Thanks to the dedicated care of his incredible foster mum and our Cat House team, Cowboy is now settling into a home of his very own. We couldn’t be happier for this resilient boy!

A Five-Year Wait for a Scottish Dream

It’s the news we’ve been waiting five years to share – our darling Millie has finally found her forever home! When we first met Millie back in 2020, she was struggling with painful and severe mange. While we managed to heal her skin quite quickly, her spirit stayed shy and guarded for a long time. The magic happened the moment she stepped into a home environment. Within weeks, Millie blossomed into the hilarious and fiercely loyal companion we always knew was hiding inside. Now, they are preparing for their biggest adventure together: her foster family is travelling with Millie to ensure she arrives safely at her forever home, trading the tropical heat of Vietnam for the beautiful highlands of Scotland!

Stand with Gerald through his toughest battle

Gerald needs your help now more than ever as he fights stage 3 chronic kidney disease. This sweet grandad has been battling a urinary tract infection that is putting extra strain on his fragile kidneys. To stay comfortable, he requires long-term antibiotics, specialised kidney support medications, and a very specific diet.

Please help us settle his mounting vet bills and give him the comfort he needs. Every bit of help ensures this gentle soul remains comfortable and loved.

Happy Birthday, Andy!

Happy 4th birthday to our handsome boy, Andy!

It’s hard to believe this handsome, gentle soul has spent four years waiting for his moment in the sun at our Dog House. While he’s a favourite amongst our team, our ultimate birthday wish is that this is the very last time he blows out his candles without a sofa to call his own. Andy is a true survivor; he beat mange, ringworm, and even the deadly parvovirus as a pup.

These hardships made him a sensitive boy who takes a moment to trust, but once you’re in his circle, you have a friend for life. He’s watched so many of his mates head off to their new lives – now, it’s his turn. If you have a quiet home and a heart with a bit of extra room, why not make Andy’s next chapter his best one yet?

Help Us Build a New Home for Our Dogs

This year has been our toughest yet, and now we face a new crisis: our landlord is selling the land, and we are being evicted. We need to raise $18,982.90 to build a brand-new sanctuary from the ground up. In the coming months, every donation will go directly towards:

Safety: A secure perimeter wall and a dedicated quarantine area.
Accessibility: Smooth concrete flooring specifically for our disabled dogs.
Essentials: A kitchen for meal prep, plus plumbing and electricity.

Rebuilding while balancing rising vet bills is a massive undertaking, and we can’t do it without you. Will you be a part of their new beginning?
