A brand-new safe haven for our dogs
Our dream of a brand-new safe haven for our rescues is officially one step closer to reality! We are thrilled to share a sneak peek of the 3D designs for our new dog shelter.
Our team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes, and the plans are currently with the local authorities for approval.
To turn these drawings into bricks and mortar, we need our incredible community to help us with the final stretch. We still need to raise USD 2,000 (approx. VND 52,000,000) to cover the remaining construction costs and get the build underway.
Every donation helps us lay the foundation for dogs who have nowhere else to turn.
Meet our newest rescue, Chomper
During a late-night rescue mission, Chomper was found hiding under a dumpster. He had been dragging his broken body around the streets for too long and had painful scrape wounds covering his lower limbs. X-rays showed that Chomper has a fractured spine, which means he might never walk properly again.
When he first arrived, Chomper was understandably terrified and aggressive, constantly hiding and refusing to let anyone touch him. But with time and patience, he is slowly beginning to open his heart. We are pleased to say that, largely because he is highly food-motivated, Chomper is getting stronger and learning that humans bring the good stuff – treats! Will you help brave Chomper on his long road to recovery? Your kindness ensures we can continue providing him with the vital medical care and comfort he so desperately needs.

A beautiful foster fail for lovely Jasmine
Rescued back in 2020 after the closure of a dog and cat meat slaughterhouse, Jasmine was one of 20 cats and five dogs saved by Paws and Compassion and FOUR PAWS. As the years passed, she became the last one still waiting for a family. But Jasmine never stopped being her playful, affectionate self, and we always knew the right person would fall in love with her. It turns out that person had been there all along. Jasmine has officially been adopted by her foster mum! Watching their bond grow into a forever home has been the most beautiful journey, and we couldn’t be happier for this very special girl.
Educational sessions
Inspiring the next generation of animal champions
This month has been absolutely packed with education and inspiration! We have been busy hosting vital animal welfare workshops for over 40 amazing students from various schools. Whether the students came to visit us directly at our cat and dog shelters, or we travelled to meet them at their schools, the energy and compassion were truly incredible. The children learned all about essential animal welfare principles and how to understand dog and cat body language. Teaching kindness and raising awareness in Vietnam is at the very heart of our mission, and seeing these young minds connect so deeply with the animals gives us so much hope for a kinder future.
