Paws Rescue Diaries:
September 2025
Welcome to this month’s edition of our Rescue Diaries!
In this post, we’re sharing heartwarming stories from the frontlines of our mission—featuring rescued animals, incredible transformations, and updates on our ongoing projects.
We’ll highlight our newest rescues, progress in foster care, and the impact of your support in making these stories possible. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
Meet our newest rescues
Meet Jiji
Little Jiji was brought to us with painful and life-threatening injuries. Both of her front legs were fractured, she had nerve damage, necrotic wounds, and severe diarrhoea, causing painful inflammation on her hind end.
While her left paws started to heal and inflammation improved, the right front leg, unfortunately, had to be amputated.
Jiji is adapting well to her new condition and is recovering under the care of one of our amazing foster families.
While she waits for her forever home, you can still make a real difference for little Jiji by becoming her monthly sponsor. Your support will help cover her care and daily needs, and you’ll be able to follow her journey to his happily ever after.

Pedro’s Happy Story!
Pedro was rescued in July after being dumped on the side of the road due to deformities in his legs. Anaemic, dehydrated, and starving, this poor puppy had resorted to filling his little belly with dirt and sand just to survive.
But Pedro is a fighter, and he made a remarkable recovery. Playful, affectionate, and full of life, he quickly stole the hearts of our Dog House team. It didn’t take long before Charles and Irene, a couple of rescue helpers who recently adopted another abandoned puppy, fell in love with Pedro.
Pedro, now named “Wiggles”, is already thriving in his new life. He’s even enjoying water therapy sessions in their private pool! We couldn’t be happier for this perfect match.
