Paws Rescue Diaries:
November 2025
Welcome to this month’s edition of our Rescue Diaries!
In this post, we’re sharing heartwarming stories from the frontlines of our mission—featuring rescued animals, incredible transformations, and updates on our ongoing projects.
We’ll highlight our newest rescues, progress in foster care, and the impact of your support in making these stories possible. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
Meet our newest rescues
Meet Winston
Winston is one of the many stray dogs living at Lady Buddha Pagoda, a place sadly known as a dumping ground for unwanted pets.
While the monks and staff do their best to feed and watch over the animals, life there is far from ideal.
Last week, we received a call about two injured dogs at the pagoda. Winston was found quickly, but the second dog had taken shelter under a house and, heartbreakingly, did not survive.
Winston had suffered fractures in both legs and was unable to walk. He has since undergone surgery at the clinic and is now recovering in our quarantine area.
Despite everything he has been through, Winston is incredibly sweet and gentle. As soon as he is fully healed, we hope to find him a loving home.
Tiny Floods Survivor Ready for a Home
Chester was found huddled under a bike cover during the severe floods in Hoi An. Underweight and suffering from parasite infection, he clearly needed help!
For a month, Chester received all the TLC he needed from one of our wonderful foster families and has now joined the Cat House.
Chester is a real “Velcro cat”…He’d happily stay on your lap, cuddling all day long. We are hoping to find him a loving home very soon!
