Paws Rescue Diaries:
March 2025
Welcome to this month’s edition of our Rescue Diaries!
In this post, we’re sharing heartwarming stories from the frontlines of our mission—featuring rescued animals, incredible transformations, and updates on our ongoing projects.
We’ll highlight our newest rescues, progress in foster care, and the impact of your support in making these stories possible. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
Meet our newest rescues
Meet Haru
Haru and her siblings were living on the streets when our rescue helper, Haruka, found them. Haruka had been feeding and caring for the family when she noticed that Haru and one of her brothers seemed unwell. They were rushed to the vet and diagnosed with parvo. Sadly, Haru’s brother didn’t survive.
Haru survived and tested negative for parvo. After two weeks in a foster home to ensure she was fully cleared of the virus, she was safely introduced to our Quarantine.
This brave pup is still working through some mobility challenges and receives daily therapy. We’re thrilled to see progress, both in her physical movement and her spirits. After weeks of appearing sad and withdrawn, she’s gradually beginning to show the playful, energetic nature that any puppy her age should have. Her recovery is heartening, and we remain hopeful for her continued improvement.

A Loving Home for Cu Cai
This fiery kitty has captured the hearts of many—from his dedicated foster moms to every member of our rescue team. His strong will and spicy character have impressed us since the day we rescued him as an emaciated, sick kitten.
