Meet our newest rescues

Coco’s Road to Recovery

Coco is only about ten weeks old, but she has already shown us what true resilience looks like. This poor kitten was found all alone on the street with a large, painful, open wound on her neck. Because she was so tiny, our vets decided she was too young for surgery to close the wound, so we’ve been focusing on daily cleaning and antibiotic treatment instead. We are so pleased to share that little Coco is healing beautifully. Despite her traumatic start, she is the definition of a sweetheart – always seeking comfort and wanting to be close to her human friends. What Coco needs now is a forever home filled with warmth and patience to help her continue healing.

The Force is Strong: Welcoming the Star Wars Crew

Meet our newest (and tiniest!) arrivals: Luke, Leia, Solo and Vader – better known as the Star Wars crew. These four neonatal kittens, barely three weeks old, were found abandoned on a dangerously busy roadside. Luckily, our wonderful Associate Director, Jodie, acted quickly to rescue them and bring them to safety. A medical check-up revealed they were battling ear mites and coccidia parasites, but they are now receiving treatment. They’re being closely monitored in their foster home to ensure they gain strength during this critical stage. Help us provide the “fuel” for their recovery so these tiny warriors can find their strength.

Adopted & Loved

For Nemo, Love Changed Everything

Our beautiful boy Nemo has officially been adopted. It’s hard to believe that this playful, affectionate soul was once nearly euthanised over a simple, treatable case of ringworm. Thankfully, our vet clinic refused, and a kind-hearted staff member stepped in to foster him, giving Nemo the second chance he so deeply deserved. From a moment of total uncertainty to being cherished in a loving forever home, Nemo’s journey has been incredible. We couldn’t be prouder of the joyful little soul he has become.

Every time a rescue like Nemo is adopted, it opens a space in our care for another animal in desperate need. We have so many wonderful kitties currently waiting for their second chance, each one needing nothing more than a loving family and a place to call home. Whether you can offer a long-term foster placement or a forever home, you are providing the safety and love they’ve been searching for.

Bean’s Heartwarming Foster Success

Finding a foster home for a disabled dog can feel like an impossible task, but Bean’s foster success gives us so much hope. Bean was left paralysed after a serious accident back in 2024, but he showed us what a survivor he is. While caring for a disabled dog might sound daunting, it often only takes a few extra minutes in a daily routine – a small price for the boundless love he gives in return. Bean is a playful lad who runs on treats and beach days, proving that disability doesn’t stop a dog from being a joyful companion. We are over the moon that this resilient boy finally has his own space where he can feel safe and cherished.

You Can Make a Difference!

As a nonprofit organization relying solely on public donations, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our supporters who make it possible for us to rescue and rehabilitate so many animals in need. Because of your support, we are able to provide our cats and dogs with food, shelter, medical care, and anything else they might need. Beyond our own rescue animals, your contributions have enabled us to deliver essential vaccinations, spay and neuter surgeries, and medical treatment to thousands of animals in the community. Your kindness makes this possible!
