Welcome to this month’s edition of our Rescue Diaries!
In this post, we’re sharing heartwarming stories from the frontlines of our mission—featuring rescued animals, incredible transformations, and updates on our ongoing projects.
We’ll highlight our newest rescues, progress in foster care, and the impact of your support in making these stories possible. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
Meet our newest rescues
Meet Tux
We’re not exactly sure what happened to Tux that left him disabled, but after seemingly being rescued from the streets, Tux was put right back, by the very same person, after we kindly explained that our shelters are currently full and suggested to help them find a foster or forever family.
Thankfully, our animal care attendant rushed out and found Tux just minutes before a storm began. We can’t imagine what might’ve happened if we hadn’t gotten to him in time.
Now safe in our Cat House, Tux has joined seven other special needs cats. Despite all he’s been through, he’s a sweet, playful kitten and has shown some improvement in his mobility thanks to regular therapy.

A Second Chance for Little Pedro
Adopted & Loved
Stuart’s Happily Ever After
After 21 months in our care and 1 month on adoption trial, our shy girl, Stuart, is officially adopted!
Stuart was rescued with two other kittens after a heartbreaking case of abuse — their tails had been cruelly cut. While Tail and Tequila found homes within a few months, Stuart remained with us. More reserved and wary of people, she only trusted a few long-term team members.
But what she lacked in confidence around humans, she more than made up for in love towards other cats.
So it was no surprise that, after being slowly introduced to her new brother BongBong, the two began getting along beautifully.
The bigger surprise was the transformation Stuart went through once in her new home. The once-shy girl is now cuddling with her new pawrents, sneaking under the sheets, and purring from pure contentment!
This is your reminder to give the shy ones a chance. Love and patience can truly change a life, and we are so grateful to Stuart’s new family for giving her that chance!

Community Outreach
Your Support Changed His Life!
This young stray had been silently suffering for months. He was part of a cat colony fed by kind neighbours. One of our dedicated rescue helpers, Haruka, took it upon herself to trap, sterilise, and vaccinate every cat in the colony.
This boy was the most urgent to catch, due to a severely damaged eye that caused him constant pain. Haruka never gave up. Thanks to her determination, he finally made it to the clinic.
Sadly, the eye couldn’t be saved and had to be removed to end his suffering and prevent infection.
Thanks to overwhelming support from our community, we were able to give him this life-saving surgery and sterilisation.
After recovering in foster care, it became clear he was too feral to live happily in a home. Haruka returned him to his colony, where she continues to care for him and the others.
We’ve recently been flooded with emergency cases, and we simply can’t continue this vital work without your help.
Please consider donating today to help us save more lives like his. Every bit makes a difference.
